Fix Cropping Issues in Cards and Lists

Cards and lists rely on consistent image crops to look professional. Without prep, images may appear stretched, cropped awkwardly, or padded with black bars.

Why it matters

Professionalism: Sloppy crops undermine trust.

Usability: Important details, like faces or book covers, can be lost.

Consistency: A row of mismatched crops looks unpolished.

Cropping issues

How to do it

  • For 50/50 Cards, crop images square (1:1).
  • For Vertical Cards, center focal points and add padding if needed.
  • For Publication covers, crop tall covers into a square with padding above/below.
  • Check how images display in list views and adjust exports accordingly.
